Square foot gardening

Today Thomas and I created a veggie garden using the square foot gardening method. When I say we I actually mean Thomas as I broke my arm a couple of weeks ago and am still pretty useless with it. I did however take some photos.

With square foot gardening you plant a different type of plant in every square foot of your garden.

We planted from seed the following:

- 2 squares of cherry tomatoes
- 2 squares of spinach
- 1 square of cucumber
- 1 square of chives
- 2 squares of zucchini
- 2 squares of basil
- 2 squares of capsicum
- 2 squares of spring onion
- 2 squares of lettuce

Taking shape.

Below – Our garden (Hrm, will look better ones green things are growing!)

Our little pile of dirt.
